College of Engineering Advising

Every student is assigned a Student Affairs Officer in the College of Engineering. The advisors provide administrative assistance and advice on college policy, and monitor you're your progress from entry through graduation. They will explain graduation requirements, interpret college policy and regulations, explain petitions, and make referrals to other units on campus. Faculty Advisor
In addition to your student affairs adviser, every engineering student is assigned to one member of the faculty in their given field of study. The Bioengineering Student Affairs Office assigns your faculty adviser, and you will be notified of the name of your adviser shortly after your arrival at UC Berkeley.
You will need your advisor's signature on your TeleBEARS form. In addition, faculty advisors keep regular weekly office hours throughout the school year for the purpose of giving advice on course information, academic problems, career objectives, long-term planning, etc. BioE Faculty Advisors and Schedule
